Feel the Burrrrrrrnnn

What a day.

It all started with the alarm going off at 6:07 AM. Headed over to Lake Calhoun for our 8 AM team run. Had a pretty good turnout, thinking at least 50 were there. The temps were good, it was just the wind that made it a little cooler. Since it was the first team run (last week's was cancelled due to cold temps) we just ran (and walked) for about a half hour. Once we were sufficiently cold, and after waiting for all the runners to get back in, we got in the car and headed over to the Tahoe team's spin class.

For the most part we had the same crowd at the spin as last week, plus a new guy who came to try it out. Glad he did! He signed up on the spot! He has a connection to the cause with a friend of his just recently being diagnosed with leukemia. It was another good workout, the legs were definitely feeling it!

Post spin we headed over to Jimmy John's for some much needed nourishment and then went to Marathon Sports to buy some new shoes. Nothing like new kicks to get the legs energized and ready for more!

This evening we went to dinner at Pablo's Mexican Restaurant in Shakopee and then went to a movie. Saw "Music and Lyrics" which was a pretty good movie. Always been a fan of Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Brad Garrett was in it as well which was a nice surprise. We recommend it.

Pretty wiped so we're heading to bed. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. Everyone have a great Sunday.
