One Ringy-Dingy, Two Ringy Dingy....

We had a great turnout last night for the tri spin classes and core workouts. We had people upstairs running laps around the track, some doing the spin training, and others doing core workouts, and then we'd switch. We took over the place! The core workouts get more and more elaborate each week, which is really cool. Ingrid and Mike are doing their usual awesome job at motivating us through challenging workouts. Thanks Ingrid and Mike!

We purchased another 10 cookbooks hoping to get rid of them all through either donations or just by selling them. Suzanne did such an awesome job on these cookbooks and has sold over 400 so far and figures they'll be sold out by May. So, if you want one of these cookbooks you'll need to let us know! They also make great gifts - especially for Mother's Day. And you're helping a great cause at the same time!

We've also got a bag of cell phones so far, and according to my calculations that should net us around $80 - all straight to the cause! We're still working on getting the cell phone collection boxes into banks and coffee shops at which point we think this can really take off. Most phones bring in between 50 cents and $10 each, so it can add up quickly! If you know of a good place where we can put one of our collection boxes please let us know.

I have now added links to our fundraising web sites so everyone can follow our progress and maybe even donate! As always, on behalf of our honorees thanks so much for your support.

New Song of the Week: "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's. I've only heard the song once but really liked it. It's a little acoustic number - worth a listen.
Old Song of the Week: "Mess Around" by Ray Charles. A classic song by Mr. Charles and one that I think I first heard in the movie "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", which is a classic movie. It's a really fun song, it's got a good beat, some great piano (of course), and I can dance to it, Dick. (American Bandstand reference for those not familiar.)

Everyone have a wonderful hump day. Don't let me forget to put the garbage out tonight.
